Please, please pray to the saint/angel/god/goddess of cartilage generation! Ask that these poor poor little helpless beings are given kneecaps!!!!!Without your help, these suffering suckling souls may never know what it's like to live like normal people with knee caps! Forward this to all your friends, family and strangers! With every forward, the high priestess of Patella will grant a baby a kneecap. (That's right. One kneecap.) That means we need a lot of forwards!

Every Saturday, 5 pm to 7 pm, Hosted by Divinity Rose: A chance for kids to shine like they're born to do. This accoustic open stage for kids gives kids a chance to get up and express themselves (music, jokes, stories,show and tell of a favorite item, share their week, magic, or other tricks), experience an open jam atmosphere, get to know others, and be commended and praised for being themselves.Special Guests Hominy and Grizz sometimes make an appearance to play music for us so we can do an open jam.

Come learn some of Divinity's poetry and songs for kids, while being part of the show!

Find other parents to talk to.

Bring items no longer needed like clothes, books, etc to swap with each other.

Come join our family ;)

There are some percussion instruments, shakers for the kids but feel free to bring your own instruments for the open jams.

at Ray's MOnkey House and Kid Cafe near the corner of Bardstown and Bonnycastle. It is in between Cafe 360 and Cumberland Brew.

What could be better than 12 days of Christmas? I mean, really...How could I top 12 drummers drumming, 11 pipers piping, 10 lords a leaping, 9 dancers dancing, 8 maids a milking, 7 swans a swimming, 6 geese a laying, 5 golden rings, 4 calling birds, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree?

And what kind of commercial brew ha ha is that anyways? Where the heck would you keep all that? And come on, you'd at least regift some of the birds. Don't lie. That's a LOT of birds...and you know what that means...a LOT of bird poop. It definitely sounds like a RIPE regifting opportunity.

So, how do I top that? Lord knows that from the bottom of my heart, I want to give you something special. I mean, you deserve it! Well, aside from never singing that for you again, I can do even better. 24..that's right...24(!) fortunes! Fortunes you don't have to make closet room for...or clean up after! I love you all so much, I'm throwing in 24 space saving, FAT FREE imaginary fortune cookies, too! I care so much, I've saved you from expanding your closets AND your hips. HO HO HOLILEJAH! Merry whatever you celebrate day! YAY!

Just thought I'd make a quick post on some awesome discoveries I've made in addition to some tips others often ask me about. A lot of artists/musicians ask me how to promote themselves and one way is to get more traffic to their website and/or blog.

One way to get more blog traffic is by submitting your RSS feed URL (at the very bottom of your blogspot page) to feed directories or even asking people you know to embed your feed into their webpage. I found a blog post that gives a pretty extensive information on increasing blog traffic here. It gives a pretty impressive list of RSS feed directory submission pages ( found here) .

Another cool thing that I found thanks to Marv Wilson over at Free Spirit is Blog Frog! Now, I already love it because I love frogs... I looooooooooove FROOOOOOOOOOOOOOGS. I mean. How can you say frog and not smile? Not to mention they metamorphosize, and I expect that this new social/blog cross breed site will do the same and only get better as it grows. Yesterday, I suffered a very traumatic experience disguised as a blessing. My son's grandmother took me out clothes shopping. I was ecstatic! It's been years since I've really gone clothes shopping for myself. What a blessing! I didn't even know where to start. Well, turns out we started with the basics, and by basics I mean TORTURE DEVICES.

We headed to the mall for bra shopping. That's right fella's. Bras, Boobie Slings, breast resters, tittie transports, bosom bindery, mammary manacles. God, I hate bras. Or, maybe I should say Bras hate me. I just bought new bras last spring and they're near useless. Upon suggestion, I visited a new store. I was told they have nice durable bras, even pretty ones, for the blessed . How's that for a slogan? Bare-able Bras for the Blessed!

Anyways, I walked into the store with a small amount of hope that I could find something better. MAYBE even something I liked. However, at the clerk's prodding, I agreed to get measured ,and that was formidable enough. I'm not the girl-y girl of girls. I'm rather embarrassed at my ignorance of much girl stuff, and I hate to ask someone I don't know to have to wrap something around me. She measured me, and I sighed in exasperation when she told me 36 DDD. TRIPLE D? God. They've grown.

Doomsday Lover, me and Tony Minzenberger, is at Bardstown Road Aglow tonight! Also performing are the Karma Bums and Draven the Illusionist!

Bardstown Road Aglow is a merry ole' festival from 5 - 10 pm where all the shop owners join in a celebration and offer up free coffee, treats and more all through the highlands Bardstown Road strip... The kids love it! There are usually some activities along the way.....

We'll be at The Greenhouse Arts Project, a groovey new gallery next to the Karma Cafe (near Grinstead and Bardstown Road)...where you can order my book "Snot, Bots, and Other Thoughts"...

Grab the kids, or a friend and come on out to BUY LOCAL as you shop for Christmas and enjoy the music, the treats and most importantly the PEOPLE :)

Open your HEARTS, be LOVERS with us, and do something that feeds your PASSION this week!
