It seems that every day there are new USB devices. Some are cool and some are not. I think that anyone that even has a little bit of geek in them will appreciate any of these. Some have practical uses and some are just fun, but all twenty of these gadgets are awesome.
1. Digital Photo Keychain: I’m sure you’ve seen these cool devices. They can hold up to 35 pictures and you can download them right from your PC. Now you can have pictures of your kids, dog, girlfriend, or wife with you all the time. Just make sure that you don’t have your wife and your girlfriend on the same key chain.

The IdeaCentre might be Lenovo's "star of the show" at CES 2009. This thin all-in one PC has an interesting design in which most of the components are placed into the bottom of the computer, allowing the display itself to appear thinner than other all-in-one competitors (Lenovo claims that it is the "Thinnest all-in-one PC"). It comes with a Lenovo keyboard complete with a touchpad, but the second hero in this announcement is Lenovo's Motion Drive Remote that is also a VOIP handset, an "air mouse" (moves the cursor with hand gestures) a game controller and a (Media Center) remote, of course. We wonder if Lenovo will sell it as a stand-alone device. |

The W595 is a Walkman phone but this time the focus is on sharing music with others. As a proof of this the W595 has powerful stereo speakers which can play your music loud and clear for others around you to enjoy. Also the headset has two 3.5mm jacks so now you can connect two pairs of headset to the same phone and share you music one one more person. Sony Ericsson's new W595 is a slider handset with a 3.2-megapixel camera, and it replaces the popular W580i from last year. Features A 2GB proprietary Sony Memory Stick Micro card comes in the box, and M2 cards of up to 8GB were supported in our tests. Sadly it's inaccessible inside the handset, so you'll have to whip out the battery to get to it. Accessing media on these cards requires a simple touch of a dedicated Walkman button, thrusting you into a clean media manager interface for browsing multimedia, Flash games and RSS feeds. They're intuitively laid out and fun to browse — plus, a built-in accelerometer automatically rotates pictures and videos depending on whether you hold the phone horizontally or vertically. |

A recent dig through Dell’s trademarks turned up a couple of curiosities – “Adamo” and “Adamo by Dell.”According to the documents, the trademarks cover computer hardware, including possibly desktops and laptops. The whole “Adamo by Dell” bit sounds rather fancy for a company that lumps all of its computers under just a handful of brands. But, apparently, this computer isn’t your regular Dell computer. It has its own Web site after all, which says the product is coming soon. Throw Adamo and Dell into a search engine, and you get nothing. Well, make that almost nothing. A luxury goods publication appears to have some early marketing collateral from Dell for Adamo. “Rumor has it that Dell is coming out with a computer called Adamo that will rival the MacBook Air,” Uptownlife.net writes. But most telling of all might have been the reaction of Michael Tatelman, Dell’s vice president in charge of consumer sales and marketing, to my question about whether or not Dell had an Air-like product in store. Mr. Tatelman’s mouth gaped open and his eyes darted away from my face. If looks could reveal product dimensions, then I’d guess that Dell’s going even thinner and lighter than Apple. |

The Compaq Mini 700 has just been revealed and one thing we noticed right away was how eerily similar it looks to the also recently announced HP Mini 1000. And looking at the specs, the similarities don’t just stop at their looks. And while the biggest obvious difference is the Compaq logo, it also provides consumers the option of an HSDPA modem, which the HP model does not have. We can also get our hands on the Compaq model quicker than the HP, since the Mini 700 will be released in the UK in December and the Mini 1000 will be released in February of next year. |
