I’ve been trying to set it up the past couple of days, but now it’s live. Introducing, the Nokia Blog Notes, our new simple forum where you, the reader, starts the conversations. Blogs are great to communicate with people of same interests. However it is up to the blogger to initiate. Now it’s your turn to start. Talk about everything and anything Nokia, or ask your support questions.

The main reason I added the Nokia Blog Notes is the Support category. I get a lot of emails about problems with their Nokia phones and answering the email will only help the person who sent the email. Answering questions viewable to everyone is more beneficial.

There are issues you want to bring up, but the contributors and I haven’t written about it. Notes will be a great place to share your voice on those topics.

I chose the simple way and went with bbPress. What I like about bbPress is that more emphasis are placed on the posts instead of categories. On most forums, you first have to go through categories before you can start reading and writing posts. With bbPress, you’ll see all the discussions on the first page. You’re still able to filter the posts with categories.
